Ashby Pond Turtle Rescue

The City of Fairfax contracted with Dr. Todd Rimkus from Marymount University to relocate turtles before the Ashby Pond dredging and retrofit project starts this fall. Turtle relocation concluded on July 22 and Dr. Rimkus removed and relocated 55 turtles. Visit engage.fairfaxva.gov to learn more about the Ashby Pond dredging and environmental improvement project.

You all did a great job making the movie appear as if it were done in the dark of night! Excellent work! I thought Don Hakenson really gave this story a vivid narrative!
